moving pages to into header and changing css codes

i’m a total novice, trying to move the pages from sidebar to header.
i found a code which allowed this, but tweaked the body of my blog.

i’d like the pages to appear horizontally across the bottom of my header and i’d like to change the font, size, color.

any advise on the right code to move the pages (w/o the word “pages” being displayed?) and then (if not asking too much) any advise on where to insert css codes for fonts,etc?
