   I had a wpmu 2.9.2 that I upgraded to wp 3.0 - I now want to move one of the blogs (wp_7) to a single site installation. I'm having some problems importing the database records. When I changed the prefix from wp_7 to wp_ and tried to import records, everything worked except the add new option under the plugins menu disappeared? Can someone please point me in the right direction? What do I need to do?

   Have you considered using Tools->Export at the multisite blog and then Tools->Import->WordPress at the new blog?

   Note that there are table prefix values in some database rows -- for instance, in usermeta there is 'wp123_capabiilities' and 'wp123_user_level' where the 'wp123_' is the table prefix.

   Yes i have considered that, but I had oodles of settings in widgets and theme options. Its ok, I finally figured out where I went wrong.

   I have a similar request. i.e. moving from mu to single site. Can you please share how you fixed your problem?
