Moving old blog to new wordpress blog

    Hello friends,

    Recently I have purchased a new blog. I am planning to move my old blog to new blog. Both blogs are wordpress self hosted blog.

    The problem: I want to merge both blogs. My old blog is getting decent traffic and it has pr3 and the new blog has no pr(launched it on 1st jan 2010). I do not want to lose traffic and pr(I understand that after migration or redirection my old blog will lose pr but I want to pass it to the new blog).

    My old blog has many useless categories so I do not want that to happen in my new blog. I am more worried about duplicate content issue.
    What are the necessary steps to be taken?
    Please help me out.
