Moving MySQL DB – posts truncated

    I’m moving my site from one host to another and I exported the schema and data to a SQL file and then imported it to my new host. Everything seemed to go okay, but the messages are being truncated after the first paragraph or so. I look in the sql file and the whole post seems to be there.

    Anyone have a clue what I’m doing wrong?

    I finally got a complete import to work by importing from the direct admin console instead of using phpmyadmin.

    However now, when I view the page, I’m getting “site.  While” interspersed throughout my text.

    Any clue why this is happening? I looked in the database and the characters are embedded inside the field.
