Moving my wordpress site?

http://www.satvoices.com is my site i need to move this to godaddy hosting.
Anyone had any experience moving a wordpress site to another hoster/server?
when you go through the process of moving like in thgese directions http://community.godaddy.com/help/article/6117?

does this also move sounds,images etc?

i’m moving this to a temporary ip address so it all looks right,if you look at the direction it says

“If you’re using the same domain name for the WordPress blog, you need to update your DNS, which brings your current blog offline.”

now i dont want my present site to go off line, any advice with all this it’s really confusing?
