[resolved] Moving Localhost files, to a NEW Localhost Folder (3 posts)

A few months ago I successfully set up a WordPress site on my localhost. At the time I had no intention of making another site on my localhost, so I (shortsightedly) installed it directly into the "htdocs" folder.

Now I DO want to create another site, but still keep the old one. How would I go about pushing that old site into its own folder and set up my "htdocs" folder to have multiple directories, one for each site? I tried creating a folder, "blog" and moving the files into there, however that didn't work. I assume that there is some setting that needs to be changed but I can't find it!

I am on a Mac computer, running the free version of MAMP.

Sorry for the delay -- I was able to push it into a new directory and create another wordpress site, using those links. Thank you!
