I have little hops of restoring blogpeoria.com.

So, i want to move the handful of highly successful and still active member blogs to my new citizen journalism site, tellpeoria.com.

BlogPeoria was set up using subdomains.

    TellPeoria uses subdirectories.

I am looking for as much advice as possible.

Right now, I cannot access any admin page on BlogPeoria.com, so the export feature is unavailable

Where do i go in the database of blogpeoria to see what number table any individual blog uses/

Can I just download that blog's tables into its own file, and simply upload them to the tellpeoria.com data base?

Like I said, much advice is needed and any given is much appropriated.

this post, while dealing with a single blog into multisite, will tell you have to put the tables in the database.

you can match up blog names to their ID when you look at the wp_blogs table.

    ridiculously stupid question:

How do I turn WordPress 3.1 into a Multisite installation, ready to accept the uploaded files and tables for the wpmu blogs I want to save?
