I am moving my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. In wp.com I have the blog pointed to a domain and want to keep it that way until my wp.org blog is ready, so I'm putting it together on a localhost.
If there are any entries on my localhost wp.org blog, can I upload those when I upload the localhost theme to wp.org? The export from wp.com loses all links, so I want to repair them on the localhost if this is possible.

I thought I'd bump this up...
I think I know how to upload from my laptop to my host, but I'm wondering just what I can upload.
If I'm customizing my theme, installing my old posts and pages, adding the links and photos back and installing plugins, will all this upload or should I wait until it's on the host until I do this? I'd rather do as much before uploading as possible.
