I have developed a wp website structure on my computer using Bitnami. It is now time to give it to my wife (the boss :-))so she can populate the pages. We are both using windows 7. what is the best way (simplest) to achieve this? Any advice appreciated.

Assuming that you now need to move the site to a remote server, see Moving_WordPress.

Hmm.. I wonder if they'll let me keep giving this anwer, or think I'm working for the company. But, I care about what works. This makes it 1,000 times easier for everyone: http://pluginbuddy.com/purchase/backupbuddy/

You can also try the Duplicator a free plugin that packs up the local or online site into a package and makes it easy to either download as a backup, or upload to a new site.
For uploading one would then also need to create a new database through your hosting provider. (Cpanel etc.) Get the database info and put it into the Duplicator. The plugin is easy to use.
