    Hi all!

Quick question. I have a WordPress blog on it's own hosting account but have decided to move that domain, and the blog, to a separate account that I own as an add-on domain.

I have already recreated the blog I need to move on the new hosting account by creating the appropriate sub-directory, insalling WP, importing the blog contents and addressing the different settings and plugins.

All that remains now is transferring the domain, which is where my question comes in.

Once the domain is added as an add on, all I have to do is change both the WordPress address and the Blog address to the new domain, correct? (I've read "Moving WordPress" in the codex, and that seems to be what would make sense... unless I missed something and should only be changing one of them.)

currently, the both addresses are primarydomain.com/subdomain - and what I want for a URL is just subdomain.com

Didn't want to mess things up, so I figured I'd check here real quick.

    Thanks!

I recently moved several WP sites from one domain to another and these instructions worked for me.

(You said you already read this, I'm just confirming that it does work.)

Worked like a charm. Had to do a DNS flush to get my laptop to recognize everything, but it's good to go now!
