   Hi there. I'm currently in the process of moving my blog, following the instructions here: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/move2/. However, when I try to upload my largest SQL database (103,000 KB), the connection times out. Is there anything I need to change in my FTP settings? Tech support told me to use "passive mode" but I tried that and it times out still.

   This is a common problem on large databases in MyPHPadmin. There is a PHP script you can use which resolves it but you need to pay close attention to the script directions.
