   I tried to move my blog from the root folder to "blog" folder and now i can't access anything. I backed everything up so I have my previous blog files on my pc.

   so my issue is, how can I revert to my old blog settings and posts and be able to log in?

   you have to edit your new location parameters.
   You can do this by adding some codes in your wp-setting file or by editing directly in the database.

   Is there a way to retrieve my posts (from the backup I have) and put them into a fresh installation of WP?
