I have a site currently up on a URL that was created in Dreamweaver and hosted by GoDaddy. I need to create a new site that will wind up at that URL, replacing the current site and I need the new site to be hosted by Bluehost. I have a few questions and would appreciate input as I am new to wordpress and learning how it all works.

I would like to be able to create the new site while leaving the current site at the current URL as is. How do I do this? I have some other domain names we will use as redirects. Should I set up the new site on one of those URLS and then move it when it is ready? If so, how do I do that?

    Thanks!

  2. I would set up your new url at Bluehost. When you do that bluehost will provide you with a temporary url. I would work with that url for now. So set up the new WP site, set the theme, add content, etc..
When it's ready, just go to your domain name manager and change the dns to point from Godaddy to bluehost.

For the re-directs, I'm not sure what you mean. If these simply need to point to the new site, just do this when your site is ready and launched.
