Moving AJAX Request to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php was a BAD IDEA! (2 posts)

For many sites that rely on securing directories such as wp-admin with a password (enabled via cpanel for example) by this plugin relying on wp-admin ajax file it now pops up a secure login request dilaog box for visitors to the site who attempt to rate a post.

It might be a better idea not to rely on wp-admin in this way.

Sorry, but it is a proper way of doing things. I wish WordPress has a ajax API for public facing pages.
