Moving a website's subdirectory and changing the domain name (2 posts)

I have mathfor.us/programming in a directory root/public_html/programming. Now that I bought another domain for programming, programmingfor.us, I want to move the folder the website is in, root/public_html/programming to root/programming.

So far I changed the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to http://programmingfor.us. The problem I have now is that programmingfor.us is still pointing to root/public_html/programming. I know this because if I rename the folder to root/public_html/programming2 it gives me an error.

I also changed my addon domain, in cpanel, to point to root/programmingfor.us instead of root/public_html/programming.

I've read the official wordpress.org documents regarding doing this but I'm missing something. What could I be missing? I feel like it's the paths in mysql but I'm not sure. If it is, how do I go about changing them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
