i had a vps on ubuntu running wordpress on ngaradio.org

then i bought a new faster vps, and moved everything to it. the two servers were identical besides ram, storage, and bandwidth.
changed hostname to ngaradio, and updated dns, name serves and all.

normally, if i post an image in a post, it will put big thumbnail on the front page as a "featured image" but really using the featured image thing, that never worked.

    anyways, directories did change from:
    /home/blog/public_html/wordpress (on old server)
    to new location:
    /var/www/wordpress/ (new server)
i backed up all sql and rsynced all files and permissions from old server to new.

what could be causing the images to not pop up

The image paths are stored in the database as part of a serialized array. So, because that changed, they're no longer displaying.

Try using a plugin like WP Migrate DB or this search and replace script.

    Make a backup first!
