Moved website / database to new hosting cannot log into back-end help!

    I recently moved a development WordPress site over from one server to my own hosting I connected the datbases fine but when I view the internal pages it still shows the old server location, this is also preventing me from logging into the /wp-admin back-end, my hosting company will not help me and I am totally stuck, I don’t want to sacrifice my work or the site content with a fresh install, please help me!

    Sounds like you just need to update the site url and home url in Admin > Settings > General. Or you could do this in wp-config.php, which might be easier since you’re locked out.
