   I recently moved my site (and domain name) to 1and1 hosting. I finally got all the files and url's proper so I can access the page. However, the site is showing up as a brand new startup blog. All of the files (including downloaded themes, jpg's, etc) are on the server. I can even switch to the theme I downloaded, but none of the page info is there.

   The previous host (Yahoo!) account is closed, so I can't go back and export a WXR file or anything. Any thoughts other than starting over from scratch?

   if you don't have a database back up or the wxr file - not much you can do except maybe find google's cached version of the site and reproduce a bit easier

   That stinks. All I did was copy all of the files from the old ftp site. I don't have any sort of actual backup file, that I know of.
