I'm a newbie, and have tried to move my finished WordPress site from my subdomain to the root directory, and something went horribly awry! I can no longer see my site, and get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /mnt/r0505/d13/s29/b02e60aa/www/forwardfitness.ca/wp-content/plugins/avatars.php on line 63

i've just sent many sleepless night getting it finished and I feel like crying. Any help os appreciated.

I have since moved the site back into the subfolder, but the style is gone and all of my sublinks are not working.

OK, I've gone into the database and changed the option_value field to the OLD URL, which brought up the old home page, but no links were working. I then was able to login to my wp-admin page and further change the site address url to the OLD one, and thank-mother-of-god my site is back.

I will now go through the instructions very carefully again:
