I've already checked the forums here for this, but I can't find anything :-(
I just moved my files and SQL database from an old server, to a new one. I tried to access my site and I got a 403 error. I have a host that allows me to host several sites on the same server, and my site is located at MAINSITE.com/public_html/wordpresssite.com, and typing in wordpressite.com redirects to that. (If I'm not being clear, I can re-explain). On both hosts, my site was set at 750, and on the previous host I could visit my site. On the new site, I had to set it to 755, and now it works. Is setting the main directory to 755 safe? And why did the old site work with 750?
Thanks in advance!
