I just bought a domain and moved from bravoproductions.wordpress.com to bravoproductions.biz. I exported the XML and uploaded it to the new domain, but the theme and graphics didn't seem to come along.
How can I transfer these without rebuilding?

Tools > Import Wordpres WXR. In next panel, there's a question if you want to include attachments. You need to enable that. You can go through the importing process again, no worries about double posts.
Alas, I did that the first time. Just tried it again in case I missed a step - but no. Theme and graphics still missing. :-(
I missed the "theme missing" part from your first post. You don't get the theme via XML import, you need either install one from the backend of your site or upload unzipped theme file via FTP or cPanel. The theme you were using in your wordpress.com is Modularity Lite from Graph Paper Press http://graphpaperpress.com/.
As for not getting the graphics, it just might be folder permissions. Contact your webhost on how to do that if you do not know how to do that.
Actually, it was easier to just save the header and background from the .com and upload them to the new one after installing the theme.
Next problem: My media isn't showing up right. Before all I had to do is post something like [audio http://example.com/media and a player would automatically show up. Now the whole text string - including the brackets - shows up on the page.
Is there a difference between how .com and .org handle that code?
I just want to get this resolved so I can focus on BUSINESS.
Unfortunately, wordpress.com had a built-in audio player, but WordPress(.org) doesn't. You'll need to use a plugin to play the files, and that may mean that you'll need to change how the files are referenced in the post.
For example, I prefer this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/degradable-html5-audio-and-video/
But, it uses [audio src="url"] as opposed to wordpress.com's [audio url].
There are other audio play plugins to choose from, but I don't know what their shortcode structure is:
I appreciate the help. I actually tracked down and installed an audio player and am cooking with gas now!
Thanks for your help, you two!

You're welcome!
