• So. I just changed my host and I would love to transffer my whole blog to the new host without loosing my posts, setup etc.
I have ALL the files from my old host (public_html -> WP folders, files etc)
But when I transffer the files, I cannot get it to work,
and if I delete the wp-config file, it does work. But none of my old stuff is there.
    No settings, no posts. Nothing.

    How can I do this?

    sincerely,
    Dag Magnus

  • The way I have moved my files from one host to another is to do a full backup at the cpanel at the old host, save the file then give it to the new web host to reinstall. My host had to reinstall 27 sites and did it for free.

hm, okey. I’ll try to do that,
since when I tried to do it myself via. FTP, it didnt work at all.

    thanks for the answer 🙂
