[resolved] moved from blogger to bluehost, help with nameservers (6 posts)

    I originally bought my domain calcrz.com through blogger and it was hosted on blogspot. Now I moved it to a self hosted server through BlueHost. Somehow I was able to change the nameservers initially but now it's giving me an error and BlueHost says I need to change the nameservers with GoDaddy, but I can't access this particular GoDaddy account (since it was purchased through blogger). Ugh! Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help me change my nameservers over to BlueHost?

    I'm not a complete idiot, I promise, just a small one.

    You purchased the domain through blogger, since you own that domain you should be able to gain the access, reset the password and done. Even if you don't have blogspot, you still have the domain and nobody can take that away from you.

    Domains purchased via Blogger, or any other service that Google runs is associated with Google Apps. Login to your Google Account and change the DNS.

    BTW this wasn't a WordPress installation issue ;)

    Cheers,

    So I admit my defeat...I guess I never renewed my domain when they told me it was to expire. Everything was working up past a month of expiration so I thought it had been automatically renewed for me or something. Anyway, thanks for your help and sorry to post it here when it wasn't a wordpress issue. {embarrassed face}
