    Hi

I previously installed my WP in a directory so I could work on site. Now finished and backed it all up and moved all the files into my root directory. The site is now live but I cannot log in to make changes

I changed my URL settings BEFORE the move from

    http://firstname-surname/wp

    to
    http://www.firstname-surname.com

So I would assume my new log in would be:

    http://www.firstname-surname.com/wp-admin/edit.php

But that just gives me a blank page. PLEASE HELP

I am using namesco with a zeus server

    damfino52,

I cannot help you, but I have a similar problem. I put my entire template folder in my root dir as you did. When I go to my URL all I have is a directory showing.

I have a couple questions. Did you move any files from your template folder out to root or somewhere else?

After the move was your site available immediately on the Internet?

Was there anything you did as far as the template folder is concerned, to get you site to show up on the Internet?

    My URL is: http://www.mimirbooks.com/

Any help you could give will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike

go to phpmyadmin and edit the 2 values of table wp_options
    1. Home value with http://www.firstname-surname.com
    2. site value with http://www.firstname-surname.com
