   Hi there,

   I've just moved a client's blog to a new hosting package with the same domain name. The previous host packaged the entire wp directory with all it's files and also provided the mysql database.

   I've been through all the migration steps found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress ,edited the wp-config.php file with new database name, cross checked it all but still no luck. I get this error from the server logs:

   [Thu Dec 08 16:47:32 2011] [error] [client 86.185.49.215] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function update_object_term_cache() in /home/sites/hidden-agency.com/public_html/diary/wp-includes/post.php on line 3465

   Even stranger I can log into the WordPress account using my client's old credentials but once in, the dashboard is completely empty.

   Any ideas what might be the problem?

   Try re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.

   When did the DNS propagation begin for the new IP address?

   Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

   Esmi will try what you suggest.
   Swanson, has been months since the domain transferred as we're rebuilding their site.

   I see...I had reviewed "hidden-agency.com" at this link (same as above), and the resolved IP Address was not 86.185.49.215, so I thought to point that out...

   Thanks guys, much appreciated.

   Nothing was coming of it until I updated WordPress via the dashboard. Now the last entry works, however allopaths to other entries and tags are wrong. Is this some new WordPress structure?

   Is there any way to salvage this blog?
