   Anyone can help me with that:
   i did all the steps to migrate the wordpress:
   -export the old db
   -created a new db; imported the old one to the new
   -changed the options (site url and home; i didn't change the upload path as the old one didn't have any value)
   - got all the files from the old site to the new server
   -changed the wp-config

   but after all those steps when i open the url, it shows the page as if there was no file uploaded, saying that the website is still under construction (default home page).
   thanks for any help.

   the problem was with the domain. problem resolved.
