Move WordPress to a VPS (4 posts)

    Hi!

    Sorry if looks like an retard right now but how the h*ll do you move a wordpress installation to a VPS? Where am i supposed to put the files, database tables etc???

    I'd love a little bit of help with this right now :D

    What kind of server is it? Which OS?

    In the meantime, if its a *nix server try looking in /var/www/html/ or /var/www/htdocs/ or try looking in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf for the DocumentRoot value.

    Hi!

    Sorry that i missed that out, right now the WP Network is installed on a Apache server a regular hosting account but i'm going to move it too a VPS with Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS 64bit. http://www.crystone.com/vps/crystone-vps-mini.aspx that's exactly my package, but i'm on the Swedish Crystone but it have the same features.
