Move social media links and put boxes around them

I would like to move the social media links out of the header/footer. I would either like them to be on the slider, at the bottom of each slider photo or towards the bottom of the page.

If they are at the bottom of the page, then something similar to Libre Office, except red around the buttons with white font.

In another support thread, someone had a link to their site where the social media links were actually in the slider and I liked that as well.
