"Move" my blog home to /blog/ URL but not update permalinks? (4 posts)

I am looking to change one of my WordPress blogs. What I want to do is this:

    1. Set the home page to be a specific page (already did inside reading setting in WordPress)

    2. Then I want my old blog home that's being replaced with a page to be moved to http://www.blahblahblahmyblog.com/blog

    3. I don't want to actually move my blog to a different directory on the server though. So in other words, all blog articles will still start URL wise like this: http://www.blahblahblahmyblog.com/my-article/
(I'm already using /%postname%/ as my permalinks)

    How do I do this?

Is it just WP-Admin > General > WordPress URL that I need to change from http://www.blahblahblahmyblog.com/ to http://www.blahblahblahmyblog.com/blog/

    make a page named blog

set that as your posts page under settings-reading.... the same place you set up the static front page

don't change the settings under general, you wil break your site. Those settings refer to where your actual files are located
