    Hi there,

    Just getting to grips with Jetpack, and it's awesome features.

    I would like to move the Jetpack like button. I have added the Engageya recommended post feed beneath posts, and it now obscures the like button. I would like to move it just below, just above (at the end of the post) or at the top where I have the Add This plugin showing

    my blog is http://blog.rachellucie.co.uk

    thanks!
    Rachel

    You could move the Like button by adding the following code to your theme stylesheet, or to your custom CSS under Appearance > Edit CSS in your dashboard:

    div.jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper {
    margin-top: 40px;
    }

    If you want to move the button to the top of your post, you can follow the instructions in this tutorial:

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick response and the info. I have straight away implemented the margin to get me by, but I would like to use the tutorial you gave a link for.

    However I am a total php novice, and am stumped by the 'Find the file for the location where you’d like the sharing icons to appear'. If I want the like to appear right at the top (underneath my *ahem* addthis sharing widget!) what file am I looking for, and how do I identify the title so I can place that code underneath?

    thanks!

    That will depend on your theme; the file might be called single.php, or content-single.php, or content.php depending on the organization of your theme. In these files, you will have to look for the_content() and insert the Like button right above it.

    If you're not comfortable editing PHP files, I would recommend that you get in touch with the theme author, they should be able to help.
