Hi everyone! I have created a WordPress site for a client in a temporary folder. She now wants it moved to the main domain name. When I went in there I realized that all her other websites - there are 4+ of them - are folders inside of her root domain (I think they are add on domains?).
If I move the WordPress files over to the root, is this going to mess up the other sites/folders she has in there? I am nervous about doing this now. Thanks and any advice would be appreciated!

It shouldn't, unless some of the files and directories in the root happen to share the same names as the WordPress files and directories, in which case they would be overwritten. Follow this guide when you move WordPress:

OK That is what I thought - that WP would just live alongside whatever else is in the main directory. I will double check file names but I believe everything in there is something.htm other than images folder etc. Thanks!
