Move forum posts onto the home page

Hi there, apologies if this is a dumb question, but I’ve done a bit of research and can’t find an obvious answer.

I’d like to be able to have the flexibility to somehow move selected forum posts from my forum (which at the moment is just the WP-Forum plugin but which I was thinking of moving over to a phpbb powered forum) to my home screen. So on my home screen I would ideally have a mix of normal blog posts that I make plus ones taken from the forums which I think are relevant enough to have on the front page.

Is this possible? If so, how can I do it?

Except I don’t want ALL forum topics to go into my blog posts just ones I choose.
