   Hi folks!

   I am planning to move an existing html-based site to WP for obvious reasons.

   However my concern is:

   1. HOW CAN I KEEP THE OLD URLs BEING INDEXED AS MOST PAGES IS NOW ON PR 3 SINCE 2003?

   2. IF I WILL JUST CHANGE THE PERMALINKS COPYING THE EXISTING URLs NOW, WOULD IT MAKE SENSE GIVEN THE FACT THAT IT HAS ".htm" EXTENSION?

   I would much appreciate if you can share me some ideas or answered old posts that can help me..

   likely you can use a custom structure of
   /%postname%.htm
