    Tonight I cleaned up my navigation tabs, and moved the search box down from the top right corner to the sidebar. After going through a lot of troubles, finally I had to rename the sidebar.php of my Mistylook 3.6 templates then uplinked the original sidebar.php to replace the old one, and finally the sidebar looks much better now. Also, the navigation tabs are all in one row at the top of the page, and the search box has also moved down to the sidebar. The trouble however, is the Alexa widget. I don’t know why, in IE it’s ok, but if I use Mozilla Fairfox, every time when I move the mouse over the widgets, then they move up and down a little bit. Please check my sidebar widgets and let me know what can I do to stop that movement? Yes, it only happens in FF.

    Thanks.

  • I don’t think it’s the widget.

    In the Mistylook stylesheet;

    a:hover, a:active {
    border-bottom:#963 1px solid;

    I think this is placing a 1px solid line under the images in your sidebar when you hover (mouse-over). The sudden appearance of the line displaces the image causing the jump effect. I think…

    In IE, the “blog showoff” image is forced substantially below the link underline within the text box.

    Perhaps the easiest way to investigate this is to temporarily change the “1px” to “0px” and view the result.

    Thanks, Clayton. I tried to set it to 0 but it didn’t work. If you think it is related to Mistylook stylesheet, I’ll see if Sadish will help us on this.
