    Can you check if you made the older posts “sticky”? You can see it in the Quick Edit section.

    Hover your mouse on your footer. You may find some posts hiding there too (for instance: http://www.sarahsarna.com/blog/archives/3533). It seems basically a problem with your theme. Try reverting to Twenty Eleven and see if the problem persists.

    I tried installing Twenty Eleven and the problem in solved – what could be causing this?

    If the problem was not there while you were on the default theme, it shows the problem is caused by your theme. It seems, either it is badly edited or some of the theme files are corrupt.
