Most recent post not displaying

On my blog home page my most recent posts are not showing, it seems to have stopped 2 posts in. I have tried adding more posts to see if it would change but the top post on my blog home page seems to be locked into a certain date and won’t change.

Has anyone had this issue? Can anyone point me in the right direction to look for fixes. I have only found people saying to re-upload WordPress (which is a last LAST resort for me) or to disable plugins which I am new to this so I am not sure the repercussions of doing so.

I’m running out of ideas and could really use some guidance.
