• Hi All,
I’m just getting my feet wet with CSS and my attempts to change a few things on my templates have fallen short.

    Theme: Morning After
    Site: buenoseria.com

    What I’d like to do:

    1. I hate, HATE the bullets used in the sidebars in this theme. I’ve designed a custom image I’d like to use on all of my lists and have uploaded it to my media gallery, but am having difficulty getting rid of the ugly rectangle bullets and replacing with my own image. Help!

    2. I’d like to get rid of the Search bar and the main title area (that currently says “Buenoseria the place for all that’s good in Buenos Aires”), and replace with a custom header that is 140 pixels tall. I can change the banner height in CSS with no problem…but even after I change the style sheet when I try to change the banner image using the “header” option under appearances on my WP Dashboard it still requires me to crop the image…then it just doubles what I’ve cropped.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cheers!
    Allison

  • Hello Allison,

It looks like you’ve figured out the answers to both your questions when I visited your site: buenoseria.com.

Now if I may, how did you do it?!?

The one thing I’m trying to figure out is the main header title. I don’t want it say “Blog’s Name”. I, too, want to replace that AND the search bar with my own image. This is the image (or LOGO) that is above the navigation links, not to be confused with the header image that is directly below the navigation.

    Please help! Thanks in advance.
