[resolved] More !slideshow_deploy! trouble (6 posts)

    Hello,

I'm getting the !slideshow_deploy! instead of my slideshow, but not every time. It seems to fail randomly. If you go to http://www.cantusfirm.us, you may see the slideshow on the home page, but if you refresh the page several times, you'll see the !slideshow_deploy! message appear eventually.

I currently have "Avoid Content Filter" enabled, but when I disable it, the page is utterly broken. See this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/N38mBHiYKZu

I'm using a theme called "Swap".

    Many thanks,

    Michael

    A little more info...

For starters, you can no longer reproduce the problem on my site, as I have a (hopefully temporary) workaround in place.

I figured out that it seems to be a conflict with another plugin-based shortcode running on the same page. Specifically, it's "TB Testimonials". When I remove that shortcode, the problem described above is solved.

But, I would like to use both shortcodes, so I hope you can provide a solution.

    Many thanks!

    Hi Michael,

I'm sorry for my late response.

Thanks for providing such clear information. I've installed the TB Testimonials plugin and I believe I was able to find a solution, which I will release in version 2.1.19.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Sorry to open this up again, but I upgraded to 2.1.19, and the problem still stands. Thanks for addressing it so quickly last time.

No problem at all. I've seen some support threads from users who also note that the problem is still present, I think your problem might be caused by the same bug.

Version 2.1.20 may fix the problem, but I'm still holding my fingers crossed. It's a very unclear issue. I'll release it some time this week.
