more install trouble using Cpanel (7 posts)

    I have followed the instructions on: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/cpanel/...and I did click on Add user, now when i run install I get the following error message:
    Warning: main(/home/minutus/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/wp-db.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/minutus/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 30
    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/minutus/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/wp-db.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/minutus/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 30
    any suggestions?

    That error means that a file WP wants just isn't there.
    Have you uploaded all files in all directiries correctly ?

    I uploaded the files just like I was supposed to...the whole folder was uploaded...after I unzipped it.

    Did it unzip into a folder called 'wordpress' and inside that were 4 other folders and a list of files ?
    Or were all the files in one big folder ?

    3 other folders and a bunch of files.

    i reinstalled, reuploaded, now I have four folders and all is well ? Go figure
