• Agree with all the other reviews – this has been by far the best backup plugin I’ve tried (and I’ve tied a few 🙂 ).

Now, perhaps I’m not looking in the right place, but I’d like to be able to do 2 things with scheduled (weekly) backups:

    1. Specific a specific time/day for them to run – they always seem to come up at 23:00 on the day I happen to be creating them.

    2. Control the file name format for the generated backup – this is important for offsite-retrieval via a script.

Is this possible somehow – ideally through the UI, but if not I’d settle for behind-the-scenes config for now…

    Thanks,

    Dave

  • I’d like to second ds101’s request/wish for altering the scheduled day/time – I maintain multiple sites and would love to be able to choose the day and time for each one to be backed up.

Thanks again for this plugin, it makes WordPress life so much easier.

    1. We are building a UI for changing the time of the backups, should be in the next major version.

You can control the time the backups are taken by using the HMBKP_SCHEDULE_TIME constant (see the help tab for more details).

    2. Thats a good idea and something we’ll implement in a future version
