• I just installed WPPP about a week ago. It’s working great – thanks for your help Hector! I’m showing the #1 Most Popular Post (All-Time) per category, along with a list of the Top 10 Most popular posts “monthly” (per category). Does this monthly “range” parameter reset each month?

Ideally, I’d like to show the most popular from the past 30 days. This way, there’s always a “fluid” number that shows the activity on our website. If it resets each month (I guess I’ll find out in a few days!), the page view number will start from zero and it won’t be quite as accurate torwards the beginning of the month.

If the “monthly” range parameter resets each month, is there a way to show the most popular posts from the previous X-amount of days? For example, use range=’30’ vs. range=’monthly’?

    Alright, here’s the deal:

WPP continuously monitors each of your posts and pages and keeps them on some sort of “list” (a database table, actually). Only those posts that have been viewed at least once in the past 30 days will stay on the table, the rest of them will be discarded automatically each night. That way, only those posts/pages that have seen activity (no matter when they were published) will stay on “the list”. The views count will also vary because of this – you’ll see how many views a given post has gotten in the past 24 hours / 7 days / 30 days.
