Is there anyway to create a monthly archive for a specific category? If I have a page queueing the posts for category "Apples," I'd like to put a monthly archive that's category in the side bar.
So, when you select the month of May it only shows posts from the "Apples" category in the month of May, rather than every post in the month of May.
Anyone done this before?

The only solution list there that accomplishes what I want to do (KWEBBLE) requires you to disable canonical URLs, which I don't particularly want to do. :-/
All the other solutions listed are doing completely different things. I just want to create a widget in the side bar that lists a monthly archive of current category you are in.
