[resolved] Montezuma 1.1.9 footer widgets title and links (2 posts)

    Hi all,

    Localhost sandbox test site, installed Montezuma Theme for the very first time.

    WP 3.8.1

    Montezuma 1.1.9

    I need to have widgets in footer, so added the required code to virtual footer.php

            <div class="col3"><?php dynamic_sidebar( 'Footer Area 2' ); ?></div>

            <div class="col3"><?php dynamic_sidebar( 'Footer Area 4' ); ?></div>
          </div>
    
        		<!--

        	</div>
    
    </div>

    All seems well, in WP Dashboard > Widgets the new areas are available to add widgets.

    Next, I added the following WP Widgets to Footer areas;

    Recent Pages
    Custom Menu

    Result being, the content displayed is not the same as the widgets in the default sidebar one.

    Of which, I had assumed widgets code to be "Global" to the theme site.

    Recent Pages: alignment of links contained in the widget incorrectly display as Centred (not Left aligned, as per default sidebar one).

    Custom Menu: alignment of links contained is not ordered at all, instead, he links display next to one another, horizontally.

    Titles also Centred (not left).

    Hoping someone else has had similar issue/question.
