• I’m new to working with code. I’ve managed to move the top nav bar to below the slideshow. The problem I have now is that on post pages the nav bar is overlaid on top of content. I would be so grateful if someone can help to solve this problem. My site is http://goldcoastphototours.com

Do you want the navbar only moved below the slideshow on certain pages?

Thanks for your reply. I would like the nav bar to stay where it is on static pages but show at the top on post pages.

This can be achieved through CSS by prepending a class available to pages but the post pages, to the CSS selector for the positioning style you’ve applied to move the menu.

A CSS specific forum should be relevant towards your query, than WordPress

If you’re editing the theme’s files, make sure you transfer your changes to a Child Theme or at least a Custom CSS plugin. Otherwise changes made will erase once you update the theme.

Thank you Andrew. I’ll see how I go. I’m just a novice as far as CSS goes.
