I’m using the Modularity Lite theme. I’d like to move the blog postings off the front page and onto a separate blog page. I tried this from within the Admin panel Reading option (static pages – created a blog template and page), but it wouldn’t display posts if I remove the pointer to /apps/blog.php from the index.php.

    Any ideas?

I seemed to have solved the issue. Instead of creating a blog page for posts to display, I just created a home page and everything seems to be working well. I also edited the nav.php to exclude the home page from the menu, so it’s more of just a landing page now (which is what I wanted).

Now to figure out why IE is displaying the slideshow images on the “home” front page differently than it did when the blog was the front page. I have a feeling there are some special IE handling css codes somewhere that are now not working with the new “home” page.

    Hi DT
I am trying to get the same effect as you, but the page I created doesn’t display the slideshow images. It only displays blank.

I see it up as a static front page, only thing I have not done yet is to edit the nav.php

Is there a step I am missing?

    Regards,
    Adrian
