I would like to modify the "new WordPress blog" and "new user registration" emails to include some basic user instructions. Can someone tell me which file(s) I need to change?

wp-register.php should be the place ?

That's the one for the new user registration, thanks.
For reference the new blog email is in wp-admin/install.php.
