Modifying .htaccess permission on 1and1

    Hi,

    I registered my domain (techplaza.it) with 1and1.it and I installed WP using their “Click and build” feature.

    Now I’m trying to use Total Cache plug in and it requires the permission to modify the file, which in with 1and1 is not permitted even if I try to modify the permission via FTP.

    Do you think moving all the WP files to a different folder should solve this? Any other “easy” option to get this working?
