I want to use this product for people registering for an event.
We record registrations using member statuses in campaigns
What we want to do is this
-user receives an event invitation by email sent from Mailchimp. The “RSVP” button in the email contains paramaters passed with teh user’s name and email address. These users are already in salesforce, thats where the list that we sent from came from.

-user goes to a gravity forms page where they can pick the date they want to attend, etc.

    – on submit, we dont want to create a new lead, or contact, what we want is to add campaign membership to a given campaign to the contact record that is associated with the email in the form and also set member status.

    so 2 questions

    1) can this plugin do that? or is it only for creating new SF objects
    2) we have SF professional edition, so we dont have API access.. whats the best way to resolve that issue? or is that needed for what we want to do?
    thx!

Hi – unfortunately, the only way to update entries is to use the API. Web-To-Lead doesn’t support this.
