In my admin, I can upload images fine directly via the Media Library. So, I do not have a permissions error.
However, if I attempt to insert an image directly into a page/post or set a Featured Image, the thickbox modal window popups up, but never loads past the loading animation. It's just... stuck.
I have disabled all of my plugins and reset my theme to twentyten and this still happens. I have the same problem on Safari Mac and Firefox/IE8 Windows.
Have you tried:
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
