   Hi, i see everywhere that we have to "manage" the mod_rewrite to make it work with our installation... but how ?!... i don't see any doc or how-to about it... can someone tell how it's managed if we already have mod_rewrite activated on our host, and what is to be done to make it work ?!

   Doesn't always work if you have any archive hacks in place ......

   Does it matter when you activate mod_rewrite? For example, must you do it when installing the program, or can you activate it when you are finished with your site...in the middle?

   It can be done anytime. And it can be turned off and on at will too.
